Sal and Boa Vista are immediate for sea, tourism and international communities. Santiago offers more urban and administrative services. São Vicente is strong for culture, port life and the city of Mindelo. Santo Antão suits people looking for nature and slower rhythms.
For long stays, check permits, residency requirements, healthcare coverage, insurance and official rules. Conditions may change and depend on nationality, reason for stay and duration.
Remote workers should test internet stability, power, workspace and time zone. Anyone opening a business should study the local market, licences, taxation, staff, suppliers and seasonality before committing.
